Quotes are valid for 7 days. Once your initial deposit of 30% is paid to secure your order, we start with production.

All instructions will be provided for expanding your unit and setting it up before it arrives. We do have our very own installation partner who can provide you with a quote and turn-key option.

Each home is delivered packaged and wrapped on a truck. The truck needs at least 20m of turning space at the delivery site, otherwise they will have no choice but to deliver on the road. The units need to be removed with a forklift or crane, please ensure that you have hired one for the day.

Footings/slab and groundwork need to be completed before road transport delivers the unit; we can assist with this. Please ensure to plan ahead for plumbing, water and electrical connections so that the unit can be connected to these services.

The estimated turnaround is 10-12 weeks. This would give you sufficient time for planning, footing installations, sourcing a plumber and an electrician to connect services

Yes, you can, we have recommended partners for composting toilets, solar panels and inverter systems, our roofs include a gutter system where you can collect your own water with a filter system. Gas hot water and gas oven, there are many options

Final payments are due once production is finished and the unit is ready for shipping to your address

Yes, our homes are insulated with a 75mm sandwich panel, and the optional pitched roof also adds to the insulation. We would still advise, especially in very hot climates, to have an aircon installed or purchase fans for your unit.

We do not provide a stove or appliances, the best option is to purchase a freestanding stove in this unit. We suggest getting a single-door fridge if opting for the 36sqm due to space. Chat to us if you’re unsure and we can advise you.

We follow your progress every step of the way to ensure you are happy with your new home. Please contact us immediately if something is damaged or missing.

At the back of each unit, the connections are available for plumbing, grey water, as well as hot and cold connections. Please engage with professionals to connect your unit to these services, as we do not provide this service.

In NSW, these homes can be classified as a caravan, and no council approval is necessary. Other states and areas and councils all have different rules and regulations depending on your specific site, too. It is recommended that you engage with the council before the purchase of your expander. Australia Expandable Homes do not engage with the council approval process, however, we can provide the floor layout diagrams and certificates for the components used for plumbing and electrical, but not the installation forms. All processes with the council are the responsibility of the customer. We do not take liability for council approvals or building regulations for your property.

Yes, you can have a ramp into the unit, and the doors are double sliding doors. It is possible to install handrails in and around the unit. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
